This. Took. Me. FOREVER!
I finally found my tablet again, but it won't register, so I had to ink this by hand. Ug. Also, backgrounds are definately NOT my forte. But, hey! It turned out well enough. Ryuu's about 18 in this picture. It's probably a few months after Taro, his master, was killed, so he knows Arien by now. That means this takes place about, um... 6 years before the start of the series. As for the scars, those are from his many years as a slave. I've gotta tell you, they were giving me SO much trouble. They were worse than the whole background put together. Ug. Remind me to never to scars again. I couldn't find a tutorial for them. Maybe I'll have to make one when I master them....
